A short and sweet walk with incredible views of the Yorkshire coastline.
Walk through Sewerby, a peaceful coastal village in the shadow of its bigger neighbour Bridlington. Walk above on the cliff edge and climb down to 2 different beaches- the Sewerby shore with its rockpools and sea life- you might see the odd crab, and then the amazing tranquil beach at Danes Dyke. Sample a lovely gingerbread latte at the mobile cafe in Sewerby. Then walk towards to Danes Dyke and its perfect beach. So much to pack into a short walk!
Virus Awareness: So much room on this walk you will be able to let other walkers pass without any concern. Take a mask if stopping at the mobile cafe at Sewerby.
General Safety Tips: Wear boots, the track can get muddy and take a walking stick. There are two short but steep climbs at Sewerby shore and Danes Dyke. Take care on the cliff top path.

Sewerby is a village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) north-east of Bridlington on the North Sea coast.
Sewerby forms part of the civil parish of Bridlington.
Sewerby is home to one of the East Riding's most popular tourist attractions, Sewerby Hall. The hall is a Grade I listed building and is home to the Museum of East Yorkshire, including a room dedicated to the aviator, Amy Johnson.
The church dedicated to St John the Evangelist was designated a Grade II* listed building in 1976 and is now recorded in the National Heritage List for England, maintained by Historic England.
Danes Dyke
Danes Dyke is a 2-mile (3.2 km) long ditch that runs north to south isolating the seaward 5 square miles (13 km2) of the headland. The dyke and the steep cliffs make the enclosed territory and its two boat launching beaches, North and South Landings, easily defended. Despite its name, the dyke is prehistoric in origin, and Bronze Age arrowheads were found when it was excavated by Pitt-Rivers in 1879. It is a Local Nature Reserve.
